Apple has upgraded its MacBook notebooks, moving the top two of the three to Intel’s latest chips and sexing up all of their graphics and battery life. The 15- and 17-inch models now use the faster Core i5 and i7 processors and graphics that switch automatically between high-end Nvidia GeForce GT 330M capabilities and energy-saving Intel HD Graphics depending on the program. They are supposed to last eight to nine hours. The 13-inch still uses the Core 3 Duo and can supposedly run for 10 hours with faster Nvidia graphics. Prices range from $1,199 to $2,299 for clock speeds of 2.4GHz-2.66GHz. Memory can expand from 4GB to 8GB, The 13-inch has got a 250GB hard drives, the others 500GB.

There’s not enough iPads to go around so Apple is delaying the thing’s international launch a month until the end of May. It puts it down to stronger U.S. demand than it expected. You will recall that the dingus was supposed to be available everywhere in late March, then it went to U.S.-only starting April 3. Apple won't kill neither Flash Player nor Adobe. Yes, Steve Jobs is going slightly mad. He goes against all rules in the industry, and there's no logic in his statements. For example, today Apple allowed Opera browser on iPhone violating their own non-compete rule for accepting application for the iPhone OS. But if you think about it, all important shifts in the computing industry were made by "crazy" people who were pissing against the wind. It’s an outright sale of all the company’s mobile assets, even the server hardware underlying it rather than the $35,000 plus a potential $100,000 payout under the original licensing arrangement originally proposed. Another company expressed interested but wanted clear title, effectively changing the terms of the deal. An auction was held but McBride was reportedly the only bidder. Now he’ll be looking for investors.

With strong consumer adoption of highly functional mobile devices, enterprises are now able to embrace this widespread demand by providing secure access to corporate information. With the new ability to secure and manage iPad and Android, Sybase extends its ubiquitous device support to a list that includes iPhone, Windows Mobile, Windows, Symbian and BlackBerry. "The popularity of highly functional smart mobile devices, such as iPhone, Android and now the iPad, is significantly impacting enterprise mobility support requirements as these devices increasingly cross over from consumers into the corporate setting," said Jack Gold, president and principal analyst of J. Over the weekend of April 3-4, Attensity evaluated the sentiment of 50,000 discussion-oriented messages, or "tweets," on the iPad using Attensity Analyze for VOC, part of Attensity's semantic analysis application suite.

It’s talking better authorization and permissioning control, cost-tracking, and overall management of running virtual servers in the cloud across large organizations with multiple users, departments and projects They support the creation of IT self-service and corporate governance strategies in the cloud that are supposed to match internal IT policies. RightScale also announced that it’s now launched a million servers into the cloud.
