Nintendo Of America has released a translated version of Shigeru Miyamoto's on-stage presentation of The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword from the company's pre-Tokyo Game Show 3DS conference on September 13.

In an unexpected move, Double Fine has released a significant update to its much-loved 2005 platformer Psychonauts.
The update, available now to Steam users, adds achievements and cloud saving, and makes some subtle tweaks to the notoriously exacting Meat Circus level.
As if that wasn't enough, private investors Dracogen Strategic Investments has funded a Mac port of the game, which is now available on Steam and the Mac App Store.
Unity Technologies has presented its Unity Awards at the Unite 11 conference in San Francisco tonight. The awards are presented by the game creation tools company to developers who've made exceptional use of Unity in their projects and, held in the main hall of the San Francisco Masonic centre, were the most glitzy yet.
The absence of most of the creators from the conference led to a disappointing lack of acceptance speeches, but is indicative of the types of teams predominantly working with Unity3D who are unlikely to have bottomless travel budgets.
Unity Technologies has used its Unite 11 conference to confirm which of the features it announced in July will be added to Unity3D in its forthcoming 3.5 update. Some of the headline features include:
Unity Technologies has demonstrated its planned Flash export technology for the first time at the Unite 11 conference in San Francisco.
The game tools company used its annual conference to court Flash developers, introducing Unity3D's features to a packed room of attendees and detailing the Flash support it revealed in February this year following the release of Molehill.
"Motion pictures are the art form of the 20th century, and one of the reasons is the fact that films are a slightly corrupted art form. They fit this century - they combine art and business!"

Ubisoft's troubled I Am Alive is, the publisher has confirmed, still alive, and will be released this winter.
In a press release, the publisher reveals that the game, which tells of one man's quest to find his missing wife and daughter a year after a disaster dubbed The Event, will be released not as at retail as originally planned, but for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
Now that Gears Of War 3 has been out long enough for fans to wrap up the campaign, we sat down with Epic creative director Cliff Bleszinski to discuss the game's story, themes and design in detail. We also talk about how his admiration for Miyamoto squares with his work on games that seem to have so little Nintendo influence, the scrapped idea for an aquatic Locust enemy type and his desire to steer the series towards Band Of Brothers and away from Predator.
Hot on the heels of confirmation that Swedish developer Starbreeze's Syndicate reboot will be released next February comes this, the game's first trailer.
The trend for trailers to be soundtracked by dubstep continues with Skrillex's take on the original theme and the Syndicate Wars intro. If you like that sort of thing, you can download it for free in exchange for a Like on Facebook at the source link below.

The move means Microsoft will be able to sell the Xbox 360 for 40 per cent less than in the past. Existing stock will be cleared at a minor discount, bundled with Forza Motorsport 3 and Alan Wake.
An internal PayPal email seen by Kotaku reveals that the new Xbox 360 dashboard will be released on November 15 - the tenth anniversary of the release of the original Xbox.
The online payment service is to be added as a billing option as part of the revamped dashboard, which was announced at E3 in June and makes greater use of Kinect's capabilities. The entire dashboard, including the Bing search engine, can be controlled by voice commands.

Capcom's freemium hit has been downloaded more than 15 million times for iOS, and as such it's little surprise that subsidiary Beeline Interactive will kick off its expansion to Android with the release of Smurfs Village.
The game has been the source of some controversy in the United States, with the Federal Trade Commission launching an investigation following complaints that children were running up enormous credit card bills buying virtual items.
The Humble Indie Bundle has returned, but this time it only features a single game: Frozen Synapse.
Mode7's top-down, tactical multiplayer shooter - which we awarded nine out of ten in June - is available for as much, or as little, as you care you pay. As always, buyers can specify how they would like their payment to be split between the developers, charities Child's Play and EFF, and the bundle's organisers.

Crash Mode comes screeching back in a downloadable title that feels utterly out of place both on a home console and in the wider Burnout series. The loud and proud attitude of Paradise is the first thing you notice has been eschewed in Crash, a game with none of the flash or bang of a mode that’s meant to be all about controlling chaos.
