Andriasang is reporting that Yoichi Erikawa, who co-founded Koei in 1978, has taken over as president and CEO of Tecmo Koei Holdings.
In an earnings report today it was announced that current CEO Kenji Matsubara will resign on November 30, citing personal reasons. Erikawa will also take over from Matsubara as President and CEO of Tecmo Koei Games.

Publisher manages to reduce losses year-on-year in second quarter results.
Japan-based publisher and developer Namco Bandai has posted financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2011.
The company posted a net loss of around $24 million dollars for the first half of the fiscal year, which is an improvement on losses of $74 million for the same period in 2009.
Namco Bandai’s content division, which houses games, saw Tekken 6 lead software sales with 1.07 million units shipped.

Following a wager by MIT alumni, Microsoft’s new hardware is hacked days after launch.
Adafruit Industries, a company headed up by two MIT graduates, offered a $2,000 to anyone able to successfully create an open-source driver for Microsoft’s Kinect device.
A video of the completed task was uploaded to NUI community forums yesterday, demonstrating a successful hack of the hardware.

According to Japanese social and gaming giant DeNA's third quarter results.
Japanese social and mobile giant DeNA has reported its fiscal 2010 third quarter results, posting revenues of $336 million. The company, which acquired developer Ngmoco for $403 million last month, forecasted total revenues of $1.25 billion for the year.
