The Xbox Live Arcade port of indie success story Minecraft has slipped to next spring.
The delay was revealed by Microsoft producer Stuart Platt on Twitter yesterday. Announced at E3 in June, the XBLA version is being handled by Dundee developer 4J Studios and was originally set for release in 2011.

Nintendo has this morning announced its European release plans for the two latest 3DS models.
The Ice White 3DS will be released across Europe on December 2, bundled with Super Mario 3D Land. The system will be available without Mario's 3DS debut later in the month.
The Coral Pink model, meanwhile, will be released on November 18, bundled with a copy of Nintendogs + Cats. The system will also be available on its own "later this year."
The Metallic Red 3DS launched in Europe earlier this month.
Rockstar has this morning updated its website to announce Grand Theft Auto V.

Trion Worlds, the Californian developer of MMOG Rift, is planning on joining the rush of technology firms to the US stock market with an initial public offering (IPO).
Speaking to Reuters, chief executive Lars Buttler said that an IPO was a likely prospect given the pace at which Trion Worlds has grown: it has raised $100 million in venture capital since 2007, and has doubled its headcount to 500 in the last 12 months alone. A million copies of Rift were sold in just four months.
UK trade association TIGA last night won two of the Chartered Management Institute's (CMI) Leadership And Management Awards.

Increased digital sales helped drive a jump in revenues for Microsoft’s games business in the first financial quarter ended September 30, but Xbox 360 sales declined year-over-year and operating income fell nine per cent.
