Microsoft unveiled two new Games For Windows Live enabled titles at Gamescom 2010, Age Of Empires Online and Flight. The company also confirmed that the previously announced Fable III for PC will include Live functionality.

YoYo Games has released a version of its powerful game development tool for Mac OS X.
The popular game development program, which allows users without programming expertise to develop their own software, has until now been only been available on PC. Back in my journalist days, it was interesting to see which industry figures would complain about used game sales. A game producer I’ve become friends with is not only virulently opposed to the practice, he also believes that it’s the ultimate betrayal for retailers like GameStop to take marketing dollars from publishers with one hand while steering consumers towards used games with the other.
