Fine by me. It's public. Remeber to attribute :) RT: @StephenKilbride: ...It ok if I use 1 of your tweets in my private blog? #mscidel
RT @StephenKilbride: @claraoshea @eldilae @amywoodgate It ok if I use 1 of your tweets in my private blog? #mscidel / Twitter is public. :-)
@claraoshea @eldilae @amywoodgate It ok if I use 1 of your tweets in my private blog? Not sure of the protocol, thought I'd ask :) #mscidel
@NicolStuart Yup. Think that's why I don't require 'me' to be consistent.Hence tomorrow I could be 'me' but now female/old/etc. #mscidel
@claraoshea @redunca Indeed. Good challenge though, trying to properly translate my 'voice' into something fitting this medium. :) #mscidel
@CMSinclair Oh yes.I don't 'sound' like me here.Too clipped + (i feel) too harsh sounding as I can't elaborate/explain #mscidel
@StephenKilbride 'man is the sum of his actions' - allows continuity (connection to past) & possibility to change - build on past #mscidel
@StephenKilbride Perhaps our use of subclauses, when we're marking our communication territory, is an aspect of who we are. #mscidel
@redunca @StephenKilbride different techs for different purposes? Twitter=brainstorming/resource sharing (Skype text=socialising?) #mscidel
JISC TechDis have developed a website which provides teaching materials to educate adults with learning disabilities about online safety. The team worked directly with students to ensure these materials were engaging and user friendly. @vikyzouka @PopiAn7 let's get a tutorial-style discussion going and explore twitter capabilities a little more... #mscidel
@vikyzouka @PopiAn7 I think this is exactly where we should go, pedagogically speaking, if only to mutually agree it is wrong! #mscidel
@claraoshea I think it's easy and useful but not convenient for me.I need an "edit" button :) #mscidel
@PopiAn7 I wouldn't go there, pedagogically speaking. I wouldn't prensky (verb?!!) either ;) #mscidel
@amywoodgate great metaphor! I think I'll detach soon ;) #mscidel
@PopiAn7 ... Unless we do a Prensky and give kids a computer but no instructions! :) #mscidel
@PopiAn7 As we have all been immersed in an ed culture before, surely we already possess practical wisdom to apply in digi context #mscidel
@amywoodgate If twitter's the fingernail - what's the toenail? #mscidel
@claraoshea I know the feeling :) huge fan of Escher and his fractals:an illusion of the senses but awareness of the mind :) #mscidel
Can digital bodies be practically wise, since the latter requires apprenticeship to physical bodies according to Dreyfus? #mscidel
#mscidel ... In a nice way! Like a manicured nail!! (Just got told that tweet was maybe a little grim!) :)
#mscidel ... maybe twitter is the fingernail of the digital body - useful, grows on you with time, but easy to detach from when bored!
@NicolStuart maybe we're approaching it the /wrong/ way - traditional tutorial style rather than 'twiditional' :P @claraoshea #mscidel
