Austin Tate :: Blog :: Reflections on Week 2.4 - Life Wall Dominates Word Count in my Blogs

September 28, 2011

A Wordle word scatter diagram of my blogs for IDEL11 on Holyrood Park and for EDEDC11 on edc11.education show that the work I did to create a "Life Wall" at http://atate.org/ has been my top focus in the first couple of weeks of the MSC in e-Learning.  I very much like Wordle diagrams to show threads for work over a long period... and have used them for some years on my Publications sites at

  1. I love Wordle too, Austin - it does help expose what words are particularly significant to individuals and groups.   It looks as though you're doing a sort of stock-take that will provide a useful basis for considering any changes that might occur during a programme of study.  This is especially useful for someone with such a wide range of existing experience and knowledge - but others who see this might want to try it too.  It can be helpful to find out what you're thinking/writing about!
