In today’s digital economy, companies are faced with a fast data challenge as well as a Big Data one. As a result they are under pressure to adapt their analytics processes and data flows at pace to move beyond traditional data warehouse silos. Big Data projects are either too big or too complex to handle the traditional way. That’s why most projects by companies at the start of their Big Data initiative have no process at all. Waterfall approaches are notably inefficient as you probably won’t have access to proper staging environment and only limited time and scale for qualification.

We will also take a look at key concepts and terminology related to ARM. ASM or ARM? One of the key tenets of cloud, especially infrastructure services, is programmability. Almost every cloud provider exposes a set of APIs to manipulate the virtual infrastructure programmatically. Even before the Cloud Computing term became a buzzword, Amazon exposed APIs for storage and compute, which eventually became the core of AWS.
Today we can collect lots and lots of performance data. We build beautiful dashboards and even have fancy query languages to access and transform the data. Still performance data is a secret language only a couple of people understand. The more business becomes digital the more stakeholders are interested in this data including how it relates to business. Some of these people have never used a monitoring tool before. They have a question on their mind like “How is my application doing” but no idea how to get a proper answer.

To make appropriate adjustments for resource quotas you need good visibility into any limits containers have reached or errors they have caused. We recommend using alerts according to defined limits; this way you can adjust limits or resource usage even before errors start happening.
