China Unicom Still Trying to Introduce iPhone

The JCP's Election Results

The JCP’s annual elections for our Executive Committees (ECs) are now complete. As a reminder, during the first round the following members were nominated by Sun and ratified by the community: Nokia, Philips, and IBM for the Java ME EC; and Ericsson, SpringSource, and SAP for the Java SE/EE EC. In the second round of the elections, during which all members are free to nominate themselves, voters had to choose two members for each EC.

Nevada, where gaming revenues fell 19% in December, has a new worry: the iPhone. Word of a card-counting application for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch has reached the casino authorities. Rebuilding Greensburg

On May 4, 2007, an F5 tornado devastated the town of Greensburg, Kansas. Ninety-five percent of the town was wiped off the map and eleven people were killed. Almost immediately, the town decided to rebuild as “an oasis of environmental awareness and sustainability.” The resulting television series, executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, is titled “Greensburg.”
