These are the second set of parts you will need for your own LEGO Eurovision Island.
The Minifigs may be best found at your nearest LEGO Store "Build a Minifig" stand as, to date, no Danish Royal Family or Eurovision stars have been specifically issued. But it can only be a matter of time until they have their own Minifig series'...

Build a base board. As Eurovision Island is an Island it needs to float a bit... so take your main base boards and support them with appropriate raised supports. Building from this photo will help you put everything together but the next image will show you how the finished baseboard should look.

This is how your base board, once put together, should look. Now you are ready to start creating the buildings on Eurovision Island.

Any good performer needs a stage. A 2x2 cube with a turntable will do the business... and now Emilie de Forest can sing to all her fans at once!
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
Place your turntable 3 spaces in from the top right hand corner of the base. It is now in the middle of the stadium!
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
Now create the first layer of the stadium. Starting with 2x width will allow you to build up the structure safely - you wouldn't want any Eurovision structural integrity issues with so much of the world watching!
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
Now build up the second layer of the stadium. Being a former warehouse it's a hodgepodge of industrial grey and industrial beige. But worry not, on the night it will be 100% colour and glitter!
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
As you build up layer three - introducing the ribbed bricks that recall corrogated iron (a nod to the building's industrial past) - you need to include two bricks that will support the bottom of the #JoinUs banner that can be seen from across Copenhagen.

The aerial view of layer three. Front and sides are ribbed bricks whilst the rear of the building works a dark and light grey industrial brick mix. On this layer we have moved to a single brick layer, obviously this is to enable the raking of seats for the keen Eurovision crowd!
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
In layer four we move to almost all ribbed bricks. The exception is the banner-bearing wall which requires the reinforcement of double width bricks.
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
As we begin layer 5 we introduce the second layer of supports for the #JoinUs banner. This is made possible by 4x1 brick with front facing supports.
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
Now complete layer 5 with white ribbed bricks...
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
And now to the roof. Here a overview from above gives the full guide to the bricks you will need... now lets take a look underneath...
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
This view of the underside of the roof shows that the roof bricks sit on thin perimeter base plates - this helps keep the roof in one piece. Note that the right hand end of the roof is a separate piece - this is to allow for regular inspections of the structure and the easy removal and inspection of the roof. Structural integrity is important in Copenhagen as the city has seen it's royal palace, Christiansborg, burn down on multiple occassions....
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
Now we will begin construction on the temporary press centre. For the actual stadium this is a series of large scale marquees. We will build ours of robust white bricks to provide greater shelter and comfort for our tired journalist Minifigs - it's going to be a busy night for them.
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
Build up layer two of the press centre...
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
And now build up layer 3 of the press centre...
eurovision_nicola posted a photo:
For layer four run a further layer of bricks, installing two front facing bricks for the #JoinUs signage which will face out to the other side of Copenhagen, including those over the water in Sweden. You are polite and friendly so would not mock last year's host Malmö... but you would like to remind them that this year it is you, Copenhagen, that is hosting...

Layer four of the press centre from above. Note that the front facing mounting blocks have had a 2x1 thin plate added to better allow the signage to be seen from Sweden...
