That is more than enough of an endorsement for me to check out the northern and western areas of Scotland. I will most certainly venture out from the confines of Edinburgh! Thanks for the suggestion, Noreen!

Hello there, Noreen! I didn't realize you had lived in Scotland. I am impressed it is so far north (I looked it up on Google Maps). I have yet to go to Scotland myself, but I am keenly anticipating that day. Hopefully, it will coincide with our graduation!
I am most interested in Scotland and Ireland. Unfortunately, as with many Americans (and I suspect Australians, New Zealanders, etc.) stemming from either Ireland or Scotland, I am unable to trace my heritage past my grandfather. That hasn't dampened any enthusiasm for the place, though! I simply can't wait to visit. Do take care Noreen!
